The war did not prevent some Ukrainians from celebrating their love: on the front, a few kilometers from Kiev, a couple united in military uniform.
Surrounded by their brothers in arms, Lesya (who had traded her helmet for a white veil) and Valeriy were married on the battlefield. The couple were united in the Orthodox tradition and the event was celebrated in music with a few flutes of champagne.
