The time limit for taking a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be reduced, from February 15, to a maximum of four months instead of seven to be able to keep a valid health pass, announced the Minister of Health Olivier Véran .

“From February 15, it will take four months – and no longer seven – after his second dose to have a complete vaccination schedule,” said Olivier Véran in the Journal de Dimanche.

The rule currently in force is that from January 15, the sanitary pass becomes inactive after seven months in the absence of a booster dose, often called a third dose. Faced with the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic, the rule will therefore change again in February.

The Minister of Health recalled that “an infection will always be equivalent to an injection. This means that a person who has his two doses has not yet been recalled but was recently infected with the virus meets the conditions set ”.
