In order to encourage the recalcitrant to be vaccinated, the French-speaking province of Quebec, in Canada, would consider requiring the vaccination pass in order to buy alcohol on its territory.

According to information from the Journal de Montreal, this measure should be announced within the week by local authorities. In this province, the sale of alcohol is controlled by the Société des Alcools du Québec (SAQ).

However, some details should be worked out, especially with regard to the appropriate moment to present your vaccination pass to the employees of the store or debtor of drinks.

These same employees will not be subject to this vaccination obligation. They should therefore be able to continue working without being subject to this obligation.

A step ahead of France

While the French government is working on transforming the health pass into a vaccine pass, not without encountering certain obstacles in the adoption of the dedicated bill, Quebec has already implemented this pass for several months.
