This Sunday, January 2, a 28-year-old man tragically died trying to jump over the subway turnstile in Queens, New York.
According to a spokesperson for the New York police, the man, Christopher De La Cruz, “did not want to pay his ticket” and therefore decided to go over the security gate.
On surveillance videos, we see the man trying to defraud before collapsing head first on the cement floor of the station.
When he fell, he broke his neck, local media said, relying on the police.
The young man was declared dead at the scene, according to the same police source.
