The Director General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has announced fears of a “tsunami of positive cases” with the Omicron variant. He calls for health systems to do their best to avoid disaster.
He explains that this Omicron variant “will continue to evolve” and calls for “collective responsibility”.
