VSlike a squire The House of Val
The Country Houses have set up their new place in a listed 18th century castleand century, on the edge of the forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The concept ? The advantages of second home without the disadvantages. Here, we are not talking about an overnight stay but a package (twenty-four or forty-eight hours all inclusive), from dinner to yoga classes, from aperitif to board games, from bicycles to Nordic baths. We quickly get caught up in the game, we sit by the fireplace for a game of Uno, we pour ourselves a glass of wine, we sit on a chair in the 3-hectare park. The place has kept the imposing volumes of what was once a hunting lodge for Louis XIV, but it has been given a very cozy soft modernity.

Sophisticated Farm The Barn
Forty-five minutes from Paris, in the Yvelines, near a stud farm, the Barn acts as a cozy and pretty refuge for city dwellers lacking chlorophyll. A 19th century farmand century and agricultural barns in red sheet metal accommodate the 73 rooms, all of which have a balcony, every detail and furniture of which has been thought out, in particular by the Ateliers Saint-Lazare (formerly Be-poles), known for their refined taste and their your always right. On the activities side, games and library available, hammam, picking in the vegetable garden, Ayurvedic masseur and rich program for the weekends, in particular a large flea market with around thirty stands, on June 5th. On Sunday evening, no check-out, to play extra time as if we were at home.

By my tree Domaine de la Trigaliere
It is a preserved Touraine enclave, far from the roads and the urban effervescence, where nature imposes itself in its raw state between meadows, forests, ponds and wildlife. An estate acquired in the early 1970s by the Cheuvreux family who have since continued to preserve it, enrich it and inscribe it in its time. Because if the Trigalière remains a mecca for hunting with hounds, it is also a reference in terms of forestry and the environment. Witness its very recent photovoltaic park of more than 100,000 panels, aimed at meeting the energy needs of thousands of inhabitants, as well as its arboretum bringing together some 400 species and varieties of oak, out of the 800 listed in the world. La Trigalière is also 16 outbuildings and country houses (from 2 to 18 people) renovated with taste – some sporting a rustic-chic style, others more design – and distilled over the entire estate, allowing both to isolate oneself than to indulge in the simple joys of nature thanks to an exhaustive menu of activities (fishing, cycling, hiking, canoeing, picking mushrooms, harvesting pine cones, exploring the forest, etc.) and services (babysitting, shopping delivery, sports coach and chef at home). What a time to offload the worries of stewardship.

Insider’s lair House Ceronne
Vincent-Louis and Clément first bought this Perche farmhouse for themselves; they completely renovated it and furnished it with great taste. Pieces found from the 1960s to 1980s, works of contemporary art, two heated swimming pools, a pretty garden and even a nightclub with karaoke option… Faced with the enthusiasm of their relatives, they decided to open their Maison Ceronne to external customers on weekends, by adding a “campaign table” for lunch and dinner. Word of mouth did the rest.

Skipping school school children’s mas
For years, Marie Létienne had been nurturing the idea of settling in Provence, a region she has loved since childhood through her grandfather from Avignon. When the opportunity arises in 2018 to buy a mas XIXand in the Alpilles, she immediately took the plunge and immediately left the Lyon region with her husband and children under her arm. The building is in ruins but no matter, it will be their new home, and its outbuilding, the family lodging of which she has long dreamed. Ten months of work and a few confinements later, the Schoolchildren’s Mas finally opened its doors last summer, with the idea of offering a real holiday home equipped with everything a tribe could need: a personalized decoration and eco-responsible (vintage furniture, upcycled furniture, homemade creations, organic products, etc.), five rooms suitable for siblings, and a generous list of amenities, from the kitchen to the swimming pool, including the laundry station, bed linen and towels. toiletries, baby equipment, children’s games and à la carte activities (DIY workshops, massages, yoga, dance lessons, etc.).
