Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, 66, was urgently hospitalized in Sao Paulo on January 3.
He is said to be suffering from a new intestinal obstruction, Brazilian media reported. The president was currently on vacation in the south of the country.
Jair Bolsonaro was stabbed in the intestine during a campaign rally in 2018. Since that assassination attempt, the far-right politician has undergone half a dozen operations on his abdomen, the most recent dating from July 2021.
