Boris Johnson again in turmoil. A photo of the British Prime Minister in an alcoholic evening during confinement was unveiled this Wednesday, February 9.
On this snapshot, disclosed by the Daily Mirror, it is possible to see Boris Johnson accompanied by several of his colleagues. This event dates back to December 15, 2020 during a Christmas quiz. Beyond the garlands and hydroalcoholic gel, a bottle of prosecco, an Italian sparkling white wine, is clearly visible.

By his presence and the organization of this evening more broadly, Boris Johnson would have broken the law. Indeed, during this event, the City of London was subject to Tier 2 regulations prohibiting any social mixing between two or more people from different households.
A long list of dubious parties
While police are now investigating parties that broke the rules in Downing Street during the outbreak, this latest party is not yet one of them.
In addition, the organizers of this quiz evening had declared a few days after December 15, 2020 that Boris Johnson had “participated virtually only briefly” to thank the staff for their work during the pandemic.
