In Seraing, Belgium, a 5-year-old boy accidentally shot his little sister in the head. The latter, aged 2 and a half, was hospitalized in emergency. His vital prognosis is engaged.
The facts date back to Friday morning. According to information from RTBF, no adult was present in the room during the tragedy. They would have been alerted by the sound of the detonation.
The little boy allegedly fired a 9mm caliber CSZ38 military pistol. The weapon belonged to a friend of the parents of the children, a sports shooter, who had the authorization to hold it.
The girl was taken to hospital in critical condition. This Sunday, his vital prognosis was still engaged.
For its part, the Liège public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of this accident.
