SAs soon as the Sars-CoV-2 genome was known, researchers from all continents embarked on an arms race against Covid-19. On the “upstream” front, that of vaccination, the success has been breathtaking: development and production speed records have been shattered. In less than a year, the first vaccine was ready. On the “downstream” side, that of treatments, the results are most mixed: two years of pandemic, a lot of trial and error and announcement effects. And often, much ado about nothing.
